Beware Of Addicting Balls!

Addicting balls by Gerald Manau icon

Addicting balls (Free) by Gerald Manau is a game that stays true to its name; it is 100% addicting. The game is the epitome of simplicity, but highly entertaining with a great replay value. The aim is to occupy at least 60% of the game space with your white balls. This seems like an easy task but actually can be quite challenging.

Save The Night From Bad Dreams In Bubbledreams

Floating bubbles are shown on the screen and it is your job to correctly pair them to prevent nightmares. Bubbles have a color and an object inside them for you to easily distinguish between the different kinds. The different types of bubbles are also displayed at the top of the screen.

To pair bubbles, simply tap on the first bubble and then tap on the second. Then they will float together and pop. Gain points by pairing two of the same bubbles. Bonus points are earned by capturing more than two of a kind in one pair (by having the bubbles pass through others of the same kind before they pair), and by clearing all the bubbles from the screen.

U.S. Government Moving Towards iPhone, iPad

The U.S. federal government is throwing away its BlackBerrys and replacing laptops with iPads, according to a new piece by The Washington Post.

While the government has been often described as a place where technology upgrades come at a “Little House on the Prairie” pace, that is no longer the case. And Apple appears to be the biggest winner in the government’s move to new gadgets.

The U.S. government spends $ 80 billion annually on information technology. Whereas those dollars used to go to BlackBerry’s RIM, that is changing.

No Surprise: Music Labels Onboard For iCloud Service

Hours after Apple’s unexpected press release that discussed its new iCloud service, comes news not all that surprising. The company is said to have reached agreement with each of the four large labels to bring music to the cloud, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Although Apple has not yet officially announced what iCloud is, we’ve known for awhile now one of its components is to provide music “in a cloud.”

Zombie Ball ($ 0.99) by Hindarium is an entertaining game where users tilt their iDevice to crush invading zombies with a huge ball. The idea is simple but genius. Honestly, after those infernal zombies from Plants vs. Zombies who doesn’t want to squash a zombie or two?

The game begins with a cartoon storyline explaining that zombies have appeared and a scientist has created a massive ball to destroy them. Then a map is displayed and you begin the first level. Each level represents a different section of the map.

Who Wins? App Store Or Android Market?

The App Store now controls 59 percent of the global app market, according to a new Research2Guidance report. Apple’s app share has dropped 22 percent since 2008, mainly due to the introduction of the Android Market. However, it will be the next two years that determines who will lead for years to come.

When the App Store debuted in 2008, it reinvented an app market that was small by comparison. (Does anyone remember when Handango dominated?)

AppAdvice Will Be At WWDC And E3 2011 – Come And Meet The Team

Apple sure made things complicated for us this year by scheduling WWDC the same week as E3, but we think that we finally have all of the kinks worked out, so it’s about time we started officially taking appointments for these two huge summer events.

If you are a developer who will be attending either WWDC or E3 this year (or even both), feel free to get in touch with us so we can block out a time to see that new app you have been working so hard on, or to just to chit-chat over beverage or two.
