Bugsy Gets A Big Update And Is Better Than Ever
Posted on June 30, 2011 |
This wonderful little edutainment app is centered around an adorable Hamster named Bugsy. He lives in a room that, at first, doesn’t have many toys. It’s up to your child to answer questions correctly and earn new toys for Bugsy to play with.
The questions start out simple to assess where your pre-K child is at academically. If they answer correctly, they earn a star. If they answer incorrectly they can keep trying until they figure out the right answer.
Bugsy is encouraging whether your child answers right or wrong. But, He gives a special round of applause when your child succeeds.

When you open the app, you get a cinematic shot of the pinball table, showing off the intricate detail that Ask Homework is known for. The stainless steel pinball realistically reflects images that are out of your view. The glass covering of the tabletop shows various imperfections, including smudges that appear as the result of wiping it down with a dirty towel.
Kindle App Could Be Gone From App Store As Early As Tonight

The App Store could be without one of its most popular residents as soon as tonight. Amazon’s Kindle app could soon go away thanks to Apple’s new rules for in-app payment and subscriptions links, according to CNNMoney.
Apple’s new rules, announced earlier this year, require merchants to either use Apple’s payment system, or include no mechanism at all for subscriptions and other purchases.
This is an especially bitter pill to swallow for companies such as Amazon, who rely on its customers to frequently buy e-books.

Facebook is expected to “launch something awesome” next week, according to its Chief Executive and founder, Mark Zuckerberg. Could this be the long overdue arrival of the social networking site’s native iPad app?
According to a Reuters report, Zuckerberg said the new project launching next week was developed at Facebook’s 40-person Seattle office. This is the same office that developed Facebook’s unified mobile site, first available in March.
Just last week The New York Times reported Facebook’s iPad app has been tested internally for nearly a year and will include features not currently available via the Facebook website.
