Roboto ($ 2.99) by Fenix Fire is an arcade-style game where a powerful little robot seems to be fighting to rejoin his girlfriend who has inexplicably left on a spaceship.

He moves around on a little hoverboard with a weapon equipped to deal with any bad robots he may come across. Most of the time, however, you’ll be jumping over and around obstacles such as moving and stationary platforms and ramps. Press the jump button at just the right time and ramps will give you a big boost in speed.

The sword swallowing game shows a sword dangling above a swallower. You only have a three-second countdown to tilt the swallower so he lines up with the sword. Once it drops, you’ll need precise timing to tap the screen, stopping the sword.

It was a bit difficult for me to get the hang of this game initially. I kept losing before I barely began. I came to notice that when you destroy all of the balls on the screen — and there aren’t any more spawning — you lose. Game over. So, do your best to keep shooting them so they multiply and keep you in business.

There are three modes that you can choose from: sprint, arcade, and dodge. These are pretty self-explanatory, but for those of you who aren’t very game-familiar I will give you a brief rundown.
