A New iOS Related Infographic: “Store Wars” – The History Of Application Stores

The latest iOS related infographic to come to our attention is titled “Store Wars,” and outlines some information on smart phone applications stores (including the iOS App Store).
As you might expect, when compared with its competitors, Apple’s App Store comes out on top. But specifically, the iPhone App Store (which launched in 2008, two years before the iPad App Store) leads the way, offering over 375,000 applications. It’s not the most expensive store, either – the BlackBerry App World is – while the Android Market offers the most free applications.
