It has recently been discovered that T-Mobile USA plans to offer additional support for unlocked iPhones, beginning January 30.
Though the network doesn’t officially carry Apple’s handset, more than one million unlocked iPhones are hooked-up to T-Mobile USA’s network. In a document that was originally uncovered by TmoNews (pictured above), the carrier details its plans to roll out additional support for unlocked iPhone users, starting January 30.
According to the document, the added support will include “common procedures, information about feature and specifications and other basic device questions.”
It’s nothing major, but at least T-Mobile USA is recognising that a chunk of its user-base are iPhone owners, and is looking to support these customers.
As mentioned, the additional support should be available from January 30. We’ll let you know if anything more hits the Web.
